To all current Sheriff’s Office staff to include sworn and non-sworn personnel:

When I am elected sheriff, please rest assure that I have no intention of firing employees, letting them go, or any other way you wish to phrase it. All I ask from deputies, sergeants, lieutenants, captains, majors, chiefs and any other personnel is to do your job and take up for your fellow deputies or supervisors if they need our help.

I will evaluate and listen to any suggestions or complaints that officers may have. After a complete evaluation, if any changes need to be made, they will be made.

I, myself, will not wear a white shirt covered in medals and stars. I will be the Sheriff, but no better than you. I will wear a uniform, but it will be the same as yours. This will apply to all supervisors as well. We are all employees of the citizens. Your employees will know your rank so there’s no need to feel as if you should stand out. All I would ask is for you to do your job and we will have the best agency in this Country.

It's time to give the sheriff's office back to the community.
